Never been a vette guy until I saw this. And to this day, this exact car is still my fav. (it's the one from the "vette vs dsm" vid from back in the day)

You would be correct, all the extra air vents did it no justice. The wheels also suck, but I must say I do like the front lip.

Of all the people I thought would disagree with me you were at the top of the list.

I agree thorugh I think it will grow on me over time but like WHAT_LAG said the wheels and all the extra air damns and scoops do it no justice. My other big gripe is the interior. Normally I like two tone stuff but this car is sits too high on the totem pole to have something like that. Maybe it was just the color combo's but I think that just plan black seats with the ZR-1 would have sufficed

The ZR1 is cool but its just a C6 motor that is supercharged.

This car will discontinue the use of the hand built 427 LS7 motor. I have always thought the ultimate car was a corvette especially the new ones. However, this is almost disappointing. Granted, yes it has 500 something HP, but there are plently of all motor Z06s pushing 600 hp. Also LS motors do not like boost. Its a known fact.

I dunno, its still growing on me. Chevolet leads the way.

corvette has always been a high performace car on a budget,but now that its gonna hit 6 figures,i dont see why anyone in thier right mind would buy one,and im a vette lover,this is exactly why the C4 ZR-1 failed,why buy a corvette when u can have a Porsche,Lambo,Ferrari or Benz..........even though id rather have a C4 Zr1 over a c6 one

To add, until the ZR1 completes a lap around the ring....im not at all impressed.


GTR and 911 Turbo/GT3/GT2 are still more impressive cars.

And i love the Zo6 so dont give me that chevy bashing B.S.
